The Rev. Rodney A. Whitacre, PhD, DD, is Professor of Biblical Studies at Trinity School for Ministry, Ambridge, Pennsylvania. His commentary on St. John’s Gospel was published by InterVarsity Press in 1999. He is also the author of Johannine Polemic: The Role of Tradition and Theology (Scholars Press, 1982) and A Patristic Greek Reader (Hendrickson, 2007).
