Trinity Scholarships

Trinity’s Scholarship Committee awards scholarships from scholarship endowments according to the various scholarship criteria and individual student financial need. Some Trinity Scholarships are restricted to students who come from a certain region, diocese, or parish. Several are restricted to a certain degree program or to a student with a particular ministry intention.

Trinity students are encouraged to apply for a Trinity Scholarship. Students applying for any scholarship funds from Trinity must be full-time matriculated residential students. Students who desire to receive a Trinity Scholarship and are eligible to receive external scholarship funds need to demonstrate evidence of having applied for external scholarships.

The deadline to apply for a Trinity Scholarship is June 30th of each year for the upcoming fall and spring semesters. The 2008-2009 Trinity Scholarship Application is available here. Any student who is unable to meet the June 30th deadline may apply by November 30th for a spring semester scholarship. However, there are a limited amount of funds available for spring semester applicants. In subsequent years, students must fill out a new Trinity Scholarship Application.

Awards will be made to all qualified students. Application for a Trinity Scholarship includes completing

1) the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and
2) the Trinity Scholarship Application Form

Even if you are not pursuing any federal student loans, Trinity requires scholarship applicants to file the FAFSA for our institutional assessment of students’ relative need. Applications must be completed in their entirety and received by the Financial Aid Director on or before June 30, 2008 (and the FAFSA must be filed electronically on or before June 30, 2008). For more information regarding the FAFSA, please visit the Financial Aid pages regarding Student Loans.
