TrinityOnline
A service of Extension Ministries’ Center for Distance Learning
Through TrinityOnline, the Center for Distance Learning offers a range of Trinity’s foundational and upper division courses on a rotating basis each fall and spring.
The courses mirror our residential courses - classes last for an entire term, assignments typically are due on a weekly basis, students interact regularly with faculty, and you can expect to spend 8-12 hours per week per course in an intense and fruitful time of study. The coursework is largely asynchronous, meaning you are not required to be online at the same time as the rest of your learning community. Our use of the asynchronous discussion boards significantly contributes to the learning and the development of a community, and participation in it, combined with the other assignments, will demand an extensive amount of reading and writing.
The learning that occurs through TrinityOnline is master's level work, so you must have a bachelor’s degree in order to enroll. You may take one course (3 hours) without matriculating into a program, but for further study you must then apply for admission to a masters degree or graduate diploma program. Past credit earned may be transferred to that program.
