Rod Whitacre's Greek Reader published
The long-awaited A Patristic Greek Reader by the Rev. Dr. Rod Whitacre, Professor of Biblical Studies, has been published this month by Hendrickson Publishers. The book includes a selection of Patristic Greek texts from the 1st to the 11th centuries, with notes that will help anyone with one year of Greek to read the selections.
Rod has taught at Trinity for almost 25 years, coming to the School in 1983 after directing the Greek program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary near Boston for two years. He received a PhD from Cambridge University in 1981, and a Doctor of Divinity from Cranmer Theological House in 2000.
